Vlad Mego, 25, is a Brooklyn native and a NYS certified Emergency Medical Technician with an education in molecular biology. He comes from an immigrant family with an Ukrainian mother and a Peruvian father. Vlad has an innate desire to serve the community which his family calls home. He uses his skills in languages and medical sciences to give back to the Brooklyn community that has served them so well over the years. He hopes to excel through the ranks of EMS and eventually transition into a career as a NYC firefighter while pursuing a professional degree in medicine. He’s an avid weightlifter and enjoys tinkering with RC cars, when he’s not spending time with his family and kids.
