Garrett Hartness is a docent and Director at the Osage County Historical Society Museum. He has a wealth of knowledge about the region and its people. Not too long ago, he was interviewed by the folks from Martin Scorsese’s new film, Killers of the Flower Moon based on the David Grann’s 2017 best-seller Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. Filmmakers and authors often consult with Garrett because of his extensive historical knowledge. He believes if more and more people tell the stories of Pawhuska and surrounding areas, the effects could be profound on the community.
